The Sustainable Design Studio
Our client helps organisations that are looking to turn waste into opportunity. They create creative and sustainable solutions with circular product design, consultancy and machine design.
They needed a name, brand, strategy and a website ready for their launch. Following the launch, we continued to work with them in their marketing efforts.
Here’s what we did.
Marketing Strategy
After an initial video workshop with the client, we went away and researched the competition, audience and industry. We then devised a strategy, featuring profiles of the target audiences, what messages they would respond to and which platforms to reach them on.
Branding
We then focussed on the look, feel and tone of the brand, and most importantly the name. After some research and a branding session with the client, we went away and created the brand guidelines and logo.
Website
We also needed a platform to send people to and to bring in clients. Once we had agreed upon the URL and overall look of the site, we got to work to bring it to life. We created the layout, imagery and graphics and helped with copy and SEO.
Building a community
Having set up social channels, we needed to work on growing SDS’s following. We worked to create a organic social media campaign with useful gallery posts, which were relevant to their audience.
Additionally, we ran a giveaway to win a free shredder. Using paid Instagram ads and organic posts, we reached our goal of increasing their Instagram following by 50%. Leading to the busiest month of orders to the Sustainable Design Studio.
Content Marketing
Since the launch of Sustainable Design Studio, we have worked on keeping the site updated with relevant and engaging content. We work with Sustainable Design Studio to decide on regular blog topics and we write up the content pieces and source images.
Social Media
To keep the Sustainable Design Studio’s social media platforms varied, interesting and helpful, we created a selection of Instagram infographics.
Branded Collateral
We also created a flyer for Sustainable Design Studio to include with their products to direct them to useful content online, thank them for their purchase and outline safety requirements of using their equipment.
